People will really have to read the book to get their minds around this. Good article in Harper's Magazine June issue concerning capital's last ditch effort to commodify/make scarce nature's abundance by tying even small farmers into global commodities markets. All this being done in the name of addressing global hunger. Article is "Let them Eat Cash" by Frederick Kaufman.
